A Search for Reproducing Churches

My friends, since we began planning to plant Anchor Baptist Church in Los Angeles County, it has been my desire to plant more than one church. Not that I wanted to plant one church, move to a new location and plant another church, but I wanted Anchor to be a reproducing church. The goal has always been to plant one church that can reproduce other churches throughout our region.

I’m looking for some examples to learn from. That’s why I need your help.

My goal is to study the examples of churches that have reproduced other churches. Could you help me identify 10 churches that meet the following criteria?

  • Churches that planted at least 3 other churches in the last 25 years.
  • The new church plants have been in the same region as the reproducing church.

  1. My sending church, Valley Bible Baptist Church in Espanola, NM. We were the first church plant and in the last 3 , our sending church started two more works (bible studies for now) all within an hour. We have plans of two more works being started in the next couple years.

  2. Hello pastor,

My home church that I was saved at has done so to my knowledge.
Arden Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, TX.
    Pastor Dale Bigham

  3. Great to hear your heart, the lack of this vision is one major reason why we are failing to get the task accomplished. I have heard of a brother in Maine
We’ve communicated a handful of times via enail. Pastor Todd Bell is on his third church plant in 10 years I believe. Sounds like he truly has a reproducing heart. His email is: tbell@metrocast.net

    God bless

  4. We have not hit the third church yet but certainly plan to. I launched the initial work 11 years ago and have started two others since then.

Jeff Adams in the Kansas City, Mo area would be one who has started more than three.
